Pastor ~ darin perkins

Darin has been in ministry since 2003 and has a genuine heart for helping people grow in their faith and live it out in everyday life. Along with serving as pastor at United Church of Tilton, Darin also works full time in engineering and leadership. He chooses to serve bivocationally so the church can stay focused on what matters most—loving people and serving the community in meaningful ways.
Darin loves being involved in the community and is always willing to help wherever he’s needed, whether inside the church or beyond its walls. On Sunday mornings, one of his favorite things is simply connecting with people—meeting new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and making sure everyone who walks through the doors feels welcomed and valued.
Serving alongside his family is one of Darin’s greatest joys. His wife, Stephanie, leads worship at the church, and together they enjoy being part of the everyday life of United Church of Tilton. Their children are each serving God in their own ways: Lydia is pursuing biblical studies and exploring a call to ministry, Faith faithfully teaches children ages 3–7 each Sunday, and Cohen helps with sermon preparation and plays guitar in the worship band as he continues to grow in his faith.
Darin’s preaching is rooted in Scripture and focused on real life—honest questions, practical truth, and a faith that makes sense Monday through Saturday, not just on Sunday. He’s known for his approachable style, steady compassion, and heart for building consistency, connection, and community.
