gET TO KNOW Stephanie!

Stephanie has been serving as the Worship Leader at United Church of Tilton since January 2013. She felt God’s call into ministry at the age of 19 and soon after was invited to step into the role of worship leader at a church in Covington, Indiana. After prayerful consideration, Stephanie said yes to God’s leading and faithfully served there for three years.

Stephanie later married her husband, Darin Perkins, and joined him in ministry as a pastor’s wife. Worship has always been deeply personal to her—it is the place where she connects intimately with Jesus, breaks through barriers, and encounters Him without distraction.

Her heart for worship is rooted in helping others experience that same deep, authentic connection with Christ. Stephanie believes worship has the power to tear down walls, bring healing and freedom, and lead people into restoration through God’s presence.

Her favorite worship song, “It Is Well,” holds special meaning. Written by a man who experienced profound loss, the song stands as a powerful testimony that worship is not dependent on circumstances, but on faith and trust in God—even in the midst of pain.

A unique part of Stephanie’s story is her passion for helping others grow stronger. In her younger years, she spent time teaching children self-defense. Whether spiritually or physically, her heart has always been to help people find healing, build confidence, and walk in strength.
